    O negative is the universal donor because there are absolutely no proteins on the RBCs, which means that anyone can receive that blood without suffering rejection.

    The universal red cell donor has Type O negative blood type.

    O negative blood group people have a special unique option to help other people at the time of emergency.There are only 6.6% of people has o negative blood. O negatibe blood cells are known as Universal.
