how often should you update your website?

Hello,
If you put a lot of time to set up a website, and then you know that your should optimized your website, to make you site fresh,update constantly to get your site page rank and visitor traffic. That is how often should you update your website?

I always interduce two to three posts in my websit in a week. But at the starting of my blog I used to post one article per day.

Depends upon the website,like news related website needs daily update.some might need 2-3 updates per week
